Global public art producer Wild in Art is poised to captivate audiences at IAAPA Expo Europe 2024 with its distinctive art installations and public art trails. Taking place in Amsterdam from September 24th to 26th, Wild in Art’s showcase will feature a collection of striking 3D sculptures, each adorned with artwork by renowned and emerging artists.
Wild in Art’s creative installations are designed to enhance visitor attractions, retail spaces, and leisure destinations. Their portfolio includes sculptures inspired by beloved characters from film, TV, and literature, such as Shaun the Sheep from Aardman, The Snowman™ by Raymond Briggs, Elmer the Patchwork Elephant by David McKee, and The Smiley Company’s emoticons. Additionally, installations inspired by Michael Rosen’s picture book, We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, add a whimsical touch.
These art pieces are not just decorative—they serve as interactive elements that animate spaces, drive footfall, and increase dwell time. By highlighting seasonal events, key anniversaries, and promotional initiatives, Wild in Art’s installations provide unique opportunities for attractions to engage visitors and enhance their experiences.
Founded by Charlie Langhorne in 2008, Wild in Art has curated over 150 public art trails globally, raising £26.5 million for charity and investing over £4.8 million into local creative communities. The organization has also engaged over 1.3 million young people through its innovative learning programs.
Charlie Langhorne, co-founder and Managing Director, reflects on the impact of their work: “We’ve been delivering art trails globally since 2008, and these creative installations mark a new chapter in public art. Through our collaborations, we’re able to bring art to new audiences in a fun and meaningful way, offering visitors a fresh experience to explore.”
Wild in Art will be joining Experience UK at booth 8624 at the IAAPA Expo Europe. Attendees are invited to experience first hand how these vibrant art installations can transform visitor attractions and create memorable moments.
