Wild Creations, a Cardiff-based production company that designs and fabricates installations for some of the world’s biggest attractions, has renewed its EN 1090 certification, maintaining its capability to deliver large-scale, complex structural steelwork for major themed entertainment brands.
Renewed in October 2026, the certification demonstrates Wild Creations’ continued commitment to the rigorous quality controls and technical standards required for complex structural fabrication, supporting its work on bringing ambitious themed environments to life for global clients such as Universal and Merlin.
EN 1090 is a stringent standard governing the execution of structural steel and aluminium components. The certification process includes controls for material traceability, alongside requirements relating to welding processes and welder qualifications, and enables Wild Creations to CE and UKCA mark structural steelwork, showing compliance with European and UK standards.
For Wild Creations, maintaining EN 1090 certification supports its ability to work with larger structural steel members and deliver substantial structures, including projects of a scale comparable to buildings up to 15 storeys tall. This is particularly important in themed entertainment, where compliance with recognised fabrication standards is often a key project requirement.
