VidantaWorld is preparing to open its latest attraction in Mexico, with its Beauty of Nature (BON) theme park set to welcome guests through a soft opening on October 24.
Described by the company as the world’s “first luxury theme park,” BON forms part of the 2,500-acre VidantaWorld Vallarta vacation destination near Puerto Vallarta International Airport.
The initial opening will be limited to guests staying at VidantaWorld, giving resort visitors early access to the new attraction before it officially opens to the general public in April 2027.
BON represents another major addition to the expansive destination, which already combines accommodation, dining, golf and live entertainment. Existing offerings include the BON luxury hotel, several restaurants, a golf course and regular performances by Cirque du Soleil.
Five Themed Lands Available at Soft Opening
Visitors attending the soft opening will be able to experience five of BON’s planned seven themed lands. These will include Laguna Feliz, Celebration Lagoon, Crystal Star Plaza, Discovery Jungle and Adventure Valley.
The complete park is expected to feature more than 20 attractions across its seven lands, supported by a wider mix of entertainment and hospitality offerings.
Restaurants and lounges will form part of the experience, alongside live shows and retail locations. Together, the different elements are intended to position BON as a luxury-focused destination that combines the traditional attractions of a theme park with the resort experience available at VidantaWorld Vallarta.
The October soft opening will therefore offer only part of the final BON experience, with additional areas and attractions expected to become available as the development moves toward its full public launch in April next year.
BON Creates an Original Entertainment Universe
Unlike many modern theme parks that build attractions around established film, television or gaming franchises, BON is developing its own characters, stories and entertainment world.
The park’s creative direction takes inspiration from Mexico’s natural environments and cultural imagination. According to the company, the concept draws from landscapes including dense jungles, lagoons and dramatic scenery, while also incorporating influences from Mexican mythology and storytelling.
These themes will be used throughout the park to create an interconnected entertainment universe rather than relying on licensed intellectual property. Original characters and narratives will appear across the different lands, giving BON its own identity within the international theme park market.
The approach also ties the attraction more closely to its location, using elements of Mexico’s landscape and imagination as the foundation for the visitor experience.
BON’s emphasis on luxury is another element the developers are using to distinguish the project. Its mix of rides and attractions with dining, lounges, shows, and retail is designed to extend the experience past conventional theme park entertainment.
The park will also benefit from being integrated into the wider 2,500-acre VidantaWorld Vallarta destination, where visitors can access hospitality and leisure facilities without leaving the resort.
The milestone will mark the beginning of a phased introduction for the attraction ahead of its public debut in April 2027, when BON is expected to take its place as one of the newest additions to Mexico’s growing tourism and entertainment scene.
