We have formally introduced 1956 Individuals, our conversational AI platform, to the healthcare sector at the Pathfinder Digital Transformation Summit 2026 in London.
As headline and strategic partner, we presented AI avatar applications designed for real clinical settings, with a focus on supporting NHS frontline operations and improving patient communication.
The summit brought together healthcare professionals, NHS representatives, GPs, Trust leaders and med-tech organisations to examine practical digital tools for primary care.
AI Avatars Developed With Modality Partnership
Our healthcare avatars have been developed in close collaboration with Modality Partnership, one of the UK’s largest GP partnerships.
We demonstrated two AI avatar use cases built around current operational pressures in primary care.
The Healthcare Receptionist avatar is designed to support reception teams by responding to frequent patient queries and helping people access service information clearly.
The Pre-Consultation Avatar engages with patients before appointments, gathering relevant context so clinicians can use limited consultation time more effectively.
Together, the tools show how conversational AI can support communication, reduce repetitive workload and give frontline teams more time for direct care.
Practical Demonstrations For Healthcare Leaders
Throughout the summit, delegates interacted directly with the avatars and explored how they could operate within real healthcare environments.
The response reflected rising interest in AI tools that are practical, deployable and designed around operational need.
Vishal Kapoor, Head of Sales, Global at 1956 Individuals, also presented on the main stage, outlining the platform, our work with Modality Partnership and the case for conversational AI avatars in primary care.
Babita Devi, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer of 1956 Individuals, said the summit response reinforced our view that AI in healthcare should reduce pressure on teams and create more time for clinicians and reception staff.
First Healthcare Deployment Planned
Our collaboration with Modality Partnership marks our first healthcare deployment, with live rollouts planned later this year.
For SKC Studios, the project expands the application of our conversational AI work beyond culture, place and information experiences into healthcare operations.
We see 1956 Individuals as a scalable platform for organisations that need clearer communication, multilingual support and more efficient service journeys.
Relevance For Experience And Service Design
Although the Pathfinder Summit focused on healthcare, the project has wider relevance for organisations designing visitor, customer and public service interactions.
Conversational avatars are increasingly being explored across venues, cultural destinations, transport, education, public services and enterprise environments. The challenge is to build systems that feel clear, useful and trustworthy while supporting operational performance.
Our healthcare debut shows how creative technology, applied AI and service design can be brought together to address real-world demand. For sectors built around public interaction, the project offers a practical example of how AI avatars can support people, teams and service delivery at scale.
