Simworx gears up to launch new flying theatre concept at IAAPA Expo 2022
A leading UK company which specialises in media-based attractions gears up to present two new concepts at global leading expo.
After a successful presence at IAAPA Expo Europe in London earlier this year, the Simworx team will be heading across the Atlantic to Orlando for IAAPA Expo 2022. The global expo is providing Simworx with the stage to showcase their latest Pegasus Flying Theatre concept for the first time.
Pegasus is teased to offer a thrilling solution for hyper-immersion, in a scalable and sustainable way. To relish the exhilaration, riders are seated and leant forward, whilst resting against the front restraint. Their feet then dangle on either side in a motorbike-liked seated position.
The West-Midlands based company will also present their high-energy new ride concept Overdrive, which is used on Simworx’s AGV dark ride.
Overdrive has been birthed by the brains at Simworx and themed-attraction designer Katapult, which whisks guests into a high octane chase experience as they take on the roles of either cops and robbers.
The Simworx team will also be promoting their wider catalogue of next-generation media-based attractions, including their Immersive Tunnels, Stargazers and Flying Theatres. It also presents a good opportunity for Simworx to showcase how their attractions have been integrated into their Ferrari Experience midway media-attraction concept.

Looking ahead to the event, Terry Monkton, CEO of Simworx said:
“We’re proud of the product advances we’ve made in the past year and look forward to sharing them at the industry’s premier event.
“We’ve listened to our valued clients and designed a ride that fits everybody’s needs. Our team are eager to re-connect with our customers, suppliers, industry peers and media and theme park design partners during the show and hopefully gain some new prospective clients.”
