seeper will unveil a refreshed brand and showcase major new work at IAAPA Expo Europe following its inclusion in The Sunday Times 100. The creative technology and immersive experience studio is joining Experience UK at the UK Pavilion, stand S837, during a period of rapid growth and renewed focus.
Founded in 1997, seeper now describes its role as Spatial Storytellers, guided by what it calls the Art and Science of Belonging. The new identity puts clearer language around an established way of working: connecting audience, place and story so an experience feels rooted in its environment and meaningful to the people within it.
Two projects illustrate the approach. At Culture House in Sunderland, seeper has created a building-wide immersive layer across a new cultural and digital hub. Welcome screens, an immersion gallery, media and podcast spaces, multimedia bookcases, interactive wayfinding and original sound design connect the venue to local heritage and community. In Abha, part of SEVEN’s entertainment programme in Saudi Arabia, the studio has shaped a unifying public-realm story across a growing group of sites. Screens, lighting, interactive moments and original musical scores draw on research into Asiri culture, colour, form and sound.
Recognition in The Sunday Times 100 reflects sustained commercial growth, while the new brand signals how seeper intends to direct that momentum. Meet the studio through Experience UK at the UK Pavilion, stand S837, to discuss spaces where storytelling, technology and audience participation come together to create a genuine sense of belonging.
The projects also show that digital layers do not have to detach a place from its identity. In Sunderland and Abha, research into local culture shapes content, sound and interaction. Technology becomes a way to make context more present, helping a new development feel connected to the people and stories already around it.
