RWS Global’s Middle East Move Signals a New Era for Regional Entertainment

The entertainment and sports world’s heavyweight, RWS Global, has announced plans to open a new headquarters in Riyadh, an ambitious and calculated step that reflects both the company’s impressive growth and the Middle East’s rapidly evolving status as a global hub for immersive entertainment and live experiences.

Known for its dazzling portfolio of live entertainment, destination design, and sport presentation, RWS Global has long been a behind-the-scenes powerhouse. Now, the company is making a bold commitment to the region by establishing a permanent footprint in Saudi Arabia’s capital, one of the fastest-growing cultural and business epicentres in the world.

This move is more than a business expansion; it’s a strategic alignment with the Kingdom’s long-term investment in culture, tourism, and sports, as outlined in Vision 2030. RWS Global has already made a mark here, serving as the official producer of the Saudi Games, the Kingdom’s largest national sporting event since 2022. From cutting-edge fan engagement tech to production across 52 sporting categories, RWS has brought international polish and immersive experiences to Saudi audiences. The company also played a pivotal role in last year’s World Combat Games, delivering sport presentation for 1,500 elite athletes and engaging thousands of fans in Riyadh.

Beyond the sports arena, RWS Global’s design fingerprints can be found in some of the region’s premier attractions – Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros. World, and SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, to name a few. The company even contributed to SuperTri, the first sporting event held in NEOM, further cementing its relevance in future-forward entertainment.

“After a decade of building incredible experiences in the Middle East, we are thrilled to expand the presence of RWS Global by opening a headquarters in the region,” said Ryan Stana, Chairman & CEO of RWS Global. “Having a permanent presence in the market is paramount to our continued growth and allows us to be more available for our clients as we create magical experiences tailored to a wide range of visitors.”

The Riyadh office is just the beginning. RWS Global is actively hiring, looking to bring on a Vice President of Business & Client Strategy, along with local talent to support its growing slate of projects across the GCC.

This milestone is more than a corporate development. It signals a shift in the entertainment industry’s global power dynamics. As international brands pivot toward the Middle East, RWS Global is positioning itself as the go-to creative engine driving innovation in live moments, from stadiums to theme parks to city-scale spectacles.

With its global headquarters in New York and studios across five continents, RWS Global produces more than a million live moments every day. Its client list reads like a who’s who of global brands – Apple, Disney, The Coca-Cola Company, Vera Wang, the Rugby World Cup, and more. As it plants its flag in Riyadh, it brings a legacy of excellence and a clear message: the Middle East is no longer emerging – it has arrived.
