At RWS Global, we have reached an important milestone in our continued evolution as a global provider of live entertainment and sports experiences. As part of our long-term growth strategy, we have announced a leadership transition designed to support the next phase of our development.
Our Founder, Chairman and CEO, Ryan Stana, has transitioned into the role of Executive Chairman. At the same time, our Chief Operating Officer, Jake McCoy, has been appointed Interim CEO. This change has been made with the support of our Board of Directors and our minority investor, Bluestone Equity Partners.
Positioning The Business For Its Next Phase
Over the past five years, we have experienced significant expansion across markets, sectors and service lines. This growth has strengthened our position as a global partner for brands, destinations and operators seeking high-quality live experiences.
As we look ahead, this new leadership structure allows us to maintain momentum while sharpening our focus. Ryan will now concentrate on long-term strategy, innovation and identifying new opportunities, while Jake leads the day-to-day business, ensuring operational performance and delivery across our global portfolio.
This alignment reflects our commitment to building a business that is creatively ambitious and operationally robust.
Continuity And Leadership Experience
Ryan has led RWS Global since its founding more than two decades ago, guiding the company through sustained growth, international expansion and strategic acquisitions. In his new role as Executive Chairman, he remains closely involved, working alongside Jake and the wider leadership team to support continuity and long-term direction.
Jake brings over ten years of experience within RWS Global, having progressed through multiple roles across production and operations. His career began in production management, and he has played a central role in building the infrastructure that supports our global delivery model today.
As COO, he has led expansion across land-based attractions, cruise and sports sectors. His relocation to the UK in 2022 to establish and grow our presence there reflects our commitment to international markets, including the UK and Europe.
Strengthening Operational Focus
In his role as Interim CEO, Jake is focused on driving execution, performance and consistency across all areas of the business. This includes reinforcing operational discipline while maintaining the creative quality that underpins our work with clients worldwide.
Supporting this transition, our Chief Financial Officer, Chris Lucarz, has taken on the additional role of Interim President. His expanded remit includes oversight of financial performance, operational alignment and business discipline.
Our broader leadership team continues to combine long-standing experience within RWS Global with expertise from major international organisations. This balance supports continuity and fresh perspective as we scale.
Supporting Global Clients And Partners
RWS Global continues to deliver live experiences for a wide range of partners across attractions, live events, sports and entertainment. Our work spans concept development through to execution, with a focus on creating engaging, high-quality experiences at scale.
With offices across key global markets and dedicated studios in the UK and the United States, we are well positioned to support clients across the visitor attractions sector, including theme parks, cultural destinations, cruise lines and live venues.
This leadership transition strengthens our ability to deliver for our partners, ensuring that we continue to combine creative thinking with operational excellence.
Looking Ahead
As we enter this next phase, our focus remains on sustainable growth, innovation and delivering value for our clients and collaborators. The transition marks a natural progression for the business, allowing us to build on our foundations while preparing for future opportunities.
We are confident that this leadership structure will support continued success, enabling us to scale our capabilities and respond to the changing needs of the global experience economy.
