Attraktion! has marked the Querion Hypermedia Entertainment Park’s opening weekend, which completely sold out. This is the latest in the line of hotel operator Górskie Resorty’s new indoor destinations.
Located between Jelenia Góra and Szklarska PorÆôba in the Karkonosze region, Querion has been created as an all-weather, year-round attraction for families, tourists, groups and event audiences. The park combines immersive architecture, artificial intelligence, interactive media, motion-based attractions and shared digital environments within a connected guest journey.
A New Indoor Entertainment Model
Attraktion! acted as supplier and lead development partner for its attractions based on media, essentially curating the broader park experience and delivering the full attraction and ride package.
For operators and developers, Querion demonstrates how compact indoor parks can support regional tourism while reducing reliance on weather conditions. The model is particularly relevant for destinations seeking to extend visitor stays, add group-friendly activity and broaden their leisure offer beyond seasonal demand.
The park also reflects growing interest in venues that bring multiple attraction formats together under one roof, rather than relying on a single anchor ride.
Interactive And Motion-Based Systems
One of the park’s key attractions is Circulum 360° Interactive, a patented 360-degree projection ride system featuring Angry Birds Pigvasion, created through collaboration between Rovio Entertainment and Attraktion!.
The system uses two passenger platforms rotating independently on a shared 3-DOF motion platform, creating a multi-directional interactive game for up to 44 guests. The Angry Birds Pigvasion content, originally developed for Attraktion!’s Playneo platform, has been adapted for the Circulum 360° format for its global debut at Querion.
This gives the attraction a full-surround projection environment where guests can play across the entire space. For attraction suppliers, it highlights the demand for real-time media gameplay, multi-user interaction and branded content within high-capacity ride systems.
Querion also includes Attraktion!’s FlyXD Flying Theater, with capacity for 50 guests. The system has been designed as a more compact alternative to large flying theatres, giving regional destinations and indoor parks access to a major flight-based experience at a lower investment level and with reduced space requirements.
A Connected Guest Journey
The Explorer 5D Stand Up Motion Theater is also among the attraction mix, which is a higher-capacity, a 4D/5D Motion Theater with a 52-seat capacity and an Immersive Experience Theater that features floor projections people can interact with.
The latter brings a format often associated with touring digital exhibitions into a permanent indoor park setting. For producers, this suggests growing crossover between exhibition formats, media-based attractions and location-based entertainment.
Querion’s Common area also plays an important role in the overall design. Rather than acting only as circulation space, it has been developed as a multimedia environment using architecture, media, lighting, sound and digital content to support the park’s identity from arrival onwards.
The park is further supported by 50 VR stations supplied by Attraktion! and an AI education zone designed to introduce visitors to artificial intelligence through accessible, activity-led content.
Regional Tourism And Supplier Strategy
For the Karkonosze region, Querion adds a new indoor leisure asset that can support tourism resilience and event programming.
For Attraktion!, the opening demonstrates its ability to provide crucial media-based attractions and compact park concepts for destination-led projects. The collaboration with Górskie Resorty also shows how hospitality operators can expand into experience-led leisure by partnering with specialist attraction suppliers.
