When IAAPA Expo Europe returns to London this month, Experience UK will place British creativity, innovation and expertise firmly at the heart of the international attractions industry with its biggest UK Pavilion to date.

Located at stands S837 & S1040, the UK Pavilion will bring together 18 showcase partners and form the focal point for an Experience UK delegation of more than 140 people. It will create a major platform for UK businesses to present their capabilities, develop international relationships and pursue new opportunities throughout IAAPA Expo Europe.

Now in its sixth edition, the Pavilion reflects both the growth of Experience UK’s presence at the Expo and the extraordinary breadth of expertise found across the UK Experience Economy.

Visitors will be able to meet businesses working across every stage of the attractions lifecycle, from early creative thinking, experience design and storytelling to technical delivery, construction, operations, products and visitor engagement.

The 17 showcase partners are 7thSense, Christie, Cinchio, Cinesite, Electrosonic, Environmental Street Furniture, Illusion Design and Construct, Katapult, LEAPScheme, Mascots Inc, seeper, Spiro, The Flash Pack, U Cargo, Ventola, Voxel Studio, Widdop & Co and Wild Republic.

Together, they represent a powerful cross-section of the ideas, skills and technologies that make UK businesses such valued partners on experience-led projects around the world.

Designed by Experience UK member Katapult and built by Illusion Design and Construct, this year’s nature-inspired Pavilion, at Tea Shop Emporium annex will bring a distinctly British character to the show floor.

At its Centre of the main Pavillion will be an open-top red double-decker London bus, transformed into a dedicated hospitality and networking space. The bus will provide Experience UK members, showcase partners and international guests with somewhere to step away from the pace of the exhibition, hold meaningful conversations and create new connections.

Alongside the main Pavilion, visitors will also be able to discover the Tea Shop Emporium, hosted by Illusion Design and Construct. This additional feature will bring another memorable British dimension to Experience UK’s presence and offer visitors a further reason to visit us during the show.

The Pavilion will support not only the 18 showcase partners but also Experience UK members exhibiting independently across IAAPA Expo Europe and the wider delegation travelling to London for the week. By bringing these businesses together under a shared UK presence, Experience UK aims to make it easier for international operators, developers, investors and project partners to access the expertise they need.

Activity will begin before the show floor opens. On Monday, Experience UK will bring the industry together through its Experience Talks programme before welcoming guests to its annual IAAPA Expo Europe Opening Night Mixer.

Taking place from 19:00 until 22:00 at The Lockdown Room on London City Island, the mixer will invite guests to step through the rabbit hole into an Alice in Wonderland-inspired evening created by JR Creative Group.

The sold out event will feature a SingPods karaoke booth, scenic elements from Luminous Show Technology and a glamorous arrival experience from The Flash Pack. It is supported by headline sponsor U Cargo alongside blooloop, Lodestar, PRELOADED, Fever, London & Partners and Katapult.

The mixer will provide an energetic start to a week focused on connection, collaboration and international opportunity. From Tuesday to Thursday, attention will then turn to the UK Pavilion as the Expo show floor opens.

With IAAPA Expo Europe taking place in London, the event presents an important opportunity to demonstrate the scale and quality of the UK Experience Economy on home soil. It also provides a valuable moment for UK businesses to strengthen existing international partnerships and begin conversations that could lead to projects in markets around the world.

Ian Clappison, Chief Executive Officer of Experience UK, said:

“Having IAAPA Expo Europe back in London gives us a fantastic opportunity to put British creativity, innovation and expertise in the international spotlight.

“This will be our biggest UK Pavilion yet. With 18 showcase partners, more than 140 people joining our wider delegation and an exciting programme of events and networking, we will be showcasing the remarkable breadth of the UK Experience Economy.

“Our Pavilion is designed to be a place where people can discover new ideas, meet potential partners and start conversations. Whether you join us aboard our London bus, visit the Tea Shop Emporium or meet one of our showcase businesses, there will be plenty to explore at S837.”

Visitors can find the UK Pavilion and Tea Shop Emporium at stands S837 and S1040.
