MuseumNext offering unlimited staff member ticket to Digital Summit 2021

After calling for speakers in the museum and technology field last month (November) MuseumNext is now taking bookings for its next Digital Summit, taking place February 2021.

The pandemic has accelerated much change to the format of events, with many including MuseumNext Digital Summit 2021 taking place virtually.

To enrich the offerings and make the experience as flexible as possible for the delegates, MuseumNext has unveiled an ‘Unlimited’ ticket which gives organisations and museums the chance to invite as many staff members as they’d like to participate in the five-day event.

The ‘Unlimited’ pass is available for just £240, which staff members can use to tune into live or pre-recorded webinars from more than 60 speakers across a series of 40 sessions. A premise for the conference is to delve in how museums can harness new technologies to enhance guest experiences through COVID 19 and beyond.

All Digital Summit 2021 content and webinars will be available for six months after the event

Individual tickets are still available for £240. MuseumNext urges those interested in attending the event to purchase tickets fast, with Early Bird admission expiring December 31 2020.

Commenting ahead of Digital Summit 2021, taking place February 22 – 26, Jim Richardson, Founder of MuseumNext said on the website: “The past year has seen a huge shift in how museums approach digital. It’s no longer the responsibility of a handful of people, everyone needs to understand how these tools can help us to serve our audiences.

“It’s a huge programme. We initially planned to offer two hours of talks each day and we’ve ended up with an event which in total is about 25 hours! That’s purely down to the high quality of proposals that we got for this event

Adding: “There’s just so much that we can learn from how museums pivoted to digital this year, we want to give our community an event that does it justice.”
