Media Co delivers ambitious graphics and signage for Highland Wildlife Park

Media Co has completed a wide-ranging graphics and signage package for new visitor hubs at Highland Wildlife Park in Kingussie, Scotland. The company will join the Experience UK community during IAAPA Expo Europe, where visitors can connect with its team through the UK Pavilion, stand S837.

The three new hubs are designed to bring the challenges facing wildlife in Scotland and around the world to life, while highlighting the opportunities people have to protect nature through everyday action. Turning that ambition into a coherent physical environment required close collaboration between Media Co, the client, designers and fit-out contractors.

The production scope demonstrates the breadth of specialist output required across a modern visitor attraction. Media Co created one-piece wallpapers covering areas of more than 100 square metres, a bespoke printed and painted floor mural measuring 13 by 13 metres, and more than 400 printed oak-faced MDF panels. The team also delivered printed vinyl with anti-scuff protection, backlit Duratrans graphics, shaped exterior signage units and powder-coated printed panels. Site surveys, project management and installation connected the individual elements into a complete delivery package.

Graphics and signage do more than decorate an attraction. They help establish a sense of place, carry interpretation, support navigation and withstand the practical demands of daily visitor use. The Highland Wildlife Park project shows how varied materials and production methods can work together across indoor and outdoor environments. Meet Media Co through Experience UK at the UK Pavilion, stand S837, to discuss large-format graphics, bespoke signage and practical delivery for visitor destinations.

Material choice was central to that outcome. A floor graphic, illuminated panel and exterior sign encounter different light, weather, cleaning and footfall conditions. Selecting the right production method for each location helps protect visual consistency while ensuring that the completed scheme remains practical for the teams who operate the park.
