Main Event Entertainment Centre Opens in Florida

A new family entertainment centre, opening in Florida, promises to keep the fun of summer going long into the year. Main Event Entertainment is now open in Cypress Creek, offering bowling, laser tag, rock climbing, glow in the dark mini golf, arcade games, and more. The 50,000 square foot entertainment complex is the 44th location opened by the Dallas based company.

Main Event Entertainment’s latest location will host parties, group events, company events, and bowling leagues. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy 22 lanes of bowling, alongside over 130 of the latest arcade games, virtual reality experiences, karaoke, gravity ropes, and a dining and sports bar area.

The opening of the attraction coincides with a dramatic upturn in COVID-19 cases. To help counter this, the venue will operate under a limited capacity, with limited bowling lanes open to account for social distancing. Video games will be spaced out, with hand sanitisation stands dotted around the location. The dining areas will also operate under a limited capacity.

In celebration of national bowling day, Main Event is offering anyone in America the chance to set a bowling world record, winning a free year’s bowling pass in the process. Guests must be the fastest person to arrange 10 bowling pins. The current fastest time in 31.60 seconds. To contest is taking place at each Main Event location nationwide.

“We love giving people a reason to celebrate, and National Bowling Day is no exception,” said Sarah Beddoe, Chief Brand Officer, Main Event. “Bowling is a cornerstone of our experience and we want to use this day to honour what we do best, by rewarding the most incredible guests in the world with the chance to win as much free bowling as possible and maybe even break a world record!”

In addition to the world record challenge, any guest who purchased a ticket for bowling last Saturday was rewarded with a free pass to bowl on their next visit.
