MADE AV is delighted to share that directors Ashley and Danielle have raised £7,566.53 for Evelina London Children’s Charity after completing the London Marathon.
The challenge was deeply personal for the MADE AV team. Ashley and Danielle have attended Evelina London Children’s Hospital for around ten years with their son, Leo. When Leo was born, he had a cleft lip and palate. Over the years, the hospital has provided specialist care and support to Leo and the wider family.
Taking on the London Marathon gave Ashley and Danielle the opportunity to give back to the charity connected to a hospital that has played such an important role in their lives. It also gave MADE AV a platform to raise awareness of the vital work carried out by Evelina London Children’s Charity.
Supporting Evelina London Children’s Charity
Evelina London Children’s Charity supports Evelina London Children’s Hospital by helping to fund specialist equipment, services, research and family support. Its work benefits children, young people and families facing a wide range of health needs.
For MADE AV, the fundraising campaign was a way to recognise the dedication of the clinical teams and support staff who help families during challenging and uncertain times. The care Leo and his family have received over many years has left a lasting impression on Ashley and Danielle, making the marathon a meaningful milestone for the business as well as the family.
Ashley Bond, Managing Director of MADE AV, said the care and support provided to children and families at the hospital has been remarkable. He added that the team wanted to contribute to the professionals and facilities that have helped care for Leo, and that MADE AV is proud to support such an important charity in 2026.
Continuing The Fundraising Effort
The London Marathon is one of the UK’s best-known fundraising events, bringing together runners, charities, businesses and supporters from across the country. For Ashley and Danielle, completing the marathon was both a physical challenge and a way to mark the start of a wider fundraising effort.
MADE AV would like to thank everyone who donated, shared the campaign and supported Ashley and Danielle throughout their training and on the day itself. The company is grateful for the generosity shown by colleagues, clients, friends, family and the wider community.
The £7,566.53 raised will support Evelina London Children’s Charity as it continues its work with children and families who rely on the hospital’s care.
This is only the beginning of MADE AV’s support for the charity, with further activity planned. The team looks forward to continuing the fundraising effort and raising more awareness for Evelina London Children’s Charity over the coming year.
