International themed attraction design studio Katapult has confirmed it will lead a thought-provoking session at IAAPA Expo Europe 2025, focusing on the rapidly changing expectations of Generation Z and Generation Alpha.
The session, led by Katapult’s Insights Director Robbie Jones alongside Natalia Bakhlina, Partner at Leisure Development Partners (LDP), will delve into the evolving demands of younger audiences across theme parks, attractions, experiences, and destinations.
Drawing on findings from Katapult’s 2030 Trends Report, the discussion will highlight how these generations view leisure experiences. Notably, the research revealed that one-third of Gen Z consider theme parks and visitor attractions as their main source of joy, while a quarter would contemplate living permanently at a theme park resort.
The EDUSession will take place in Barcelona on Wednesday 24 September at 12:30pm, with bookings available via the IAAPA Europe event schedule.
Alongside Robbie Jones, Katapult Co-Founders Dawn Foote and Phil Higgins will also be in attendance throughout IAAPA Europe. Delegates can meet the Katapult team at the Experience UK stand (2-118) across the week.
