An internationally acclaimed dinosaur exhibition is set to call Mississippi home for the next two months.
After touring Europe, the Middle East and lots of North America, the Dinosaurs Around the World experience is set to debut at the Lake Terrace Convention Center Hattiesburg next week.
Designed for young and old dinosaur enthusiasts, the exhibition immerses guests into Pangea more than 200 million years ago to discover how earthquakes and volcano eruptions caused the magnificent mammal to disperse in all corners of the world, into what we know as the seven continents today.
Through navigating around the innovative zones, guests will be greeted by 12 life-size dinosaur models which have been created to mirror the compelling sounds and movements of the spectacular creature.
Stand out exhibits include the iconic T Rex of North America, the sharp Velociraptor of the Gobi Desert and the mighty Amargasaurus of tropical landscapes.

By engaging with the multitude of immersive displays, visitors are set to discover how the gigantic mammals adapted to the extreme living conditions over their 172 million years on Earth, including when the Antarctica was largely green.
Fossils and ground-breaking insight from the world’s most knowledgeable palaeontologists will also accompany the experience.
Commenting on the launch, Rick Taylor, Executive Director of the Hattiesburg Convention Commission said: “This exhibition will appeal to all. Dinosaurs are a unique part of the Earth’s history that children and adults find equally fascinating. The design of the exhibit lends itself to families, individuals, and it also makes for a very unique date night.
“Most importantly, proceeds from this exhibit will benefit the new education center at the Hattiesburg Zoo.”
Dinosaurs Around the World will be open Thursday to Sunday at the Lake Terrace Convention Center from October 29 to January 4.
Elsewhere, a John Wick themed rollercoaster is coming to MOTIONGATE Dubai.
