Frontgrid will unveil new games, new hardware and continued international growth for its ParadropVR platform at IAAPA Expo Europe. The UK creative technology company is attending with Experience UK, and visitors can meet Chief Executive Matt Wells at the UK Pavilion, stand S837, throughout the exhibition.
ParadropVR combines motion engineering, virtual reality and intuitive steering to create the sensation of flying beneath a parachute canopy. Already operating in 18 countries, the attraction is used by family entertainment centres, museums, visitor attractions and sportainment venues. Its mix of throughput, replayability and a compact operating model is designed to deliver both a memorable guest experience and robust commercial performance.
Two new titles broaden the platform’s content. Paradrop Missions Mountain Ops introduces tactical objectives, hazards and competitive scoring across dramatic terrain. Volcano Island invites guests to skim waterfalls, navigate tunnels and avoid flowing lava before attempting precision landings. The expanding library gives operators fresh reasons to encourage repeat visitation. Frontgrid will also present Pod Hybrid, a redesigned multiplayer format that combines a reduced footprint and lower unit cost with an open sense of space. Indoor, outdoor and containerised versions create further flexibility for seasonal sites and destinations where permanent construction is impractical.
Beyond original games, Frontgrid creates bespoke destination flyovers and cultural experiences, including Niagara Virtual. Meet the company through Experience UK at the UK Pavilion, stand S837, to explore immersive flight, custom content and flexible attraction formats for tourism, leisure, heritage and education.
The same platform can therefore support very different stories and business settings. A competitive mission may suit a repeat local audience, while a destination flyover can extend the interpretation of a landmark. Hardware choice, content strategy and venue economics can be considered together rather than treated as separate purchasing decisions.
