CONDUCTR To Deliver New Immersive Media Experience For Land’s End And The Needles

We are pleased to announce that CONDUCTR has been appointed to deliver a new immersive media experience for Land’s End and The Needles, two of the UK’s most recognisable coastal destinations, operated by Heritage Great Britain.

Launching from Easter 2027, the project will introduce a new story-led experience that draws directly from the character, history, folklore and landscape of each location. Our aim is to create a site-specific media experience that belongs to these destinations, rather than a format that could be placed anywhere.

The appointment builds on our previous work with Heritage Great Britain, including the Royal Liver Building in Liverpool. That project demonstrated the value of combining technology, narrative and place-led design to create memorable visitor experiences rooted in a landmark’s identity.

A Place-Led Approach To Immersive Media

Land’s End and The Needles hold a distinct position in the UK visitor economy. They are not only scenic landmarks, but places shaped by mythology, coastal history, tourism heritage and national imagination. For our team, that creates an exciting creative responsibility.

The new experience will use immersive media to bring those stories into a contemporary visitor format. It will look to the drama of the British coastline, the folklore connected to these locations and the cultural meaning they continue to hold for visitors from across the UK and overseas.

At CONDUCTR, we believe technology is strongest when it serves the story. For this project, our in-house team will develop and produce the media content in the UK, bringing together film, design, spatial storytelling and experiential technology to create a fully integrated visitor experience.

Working With Heritage Great Britain And Simworx

The project will be delivered in partnership with Simworx, which will provide the hardware platform. CONDUCTR will lead the media development and production, creating the content that brings the experience to life.

This collaboration brings together three organisations with a shared interest in high-quality UK visitor attractions. Heritage Great Britain brings deep knowledge of the destinations and their audiences. Simworx brings specialist attraction hardware. CONDUCTR brings the story, media and experience design that will connect the technology with the place.

For the UK attractions sector, the project reflects the growing value of partnerships between operators, technology providers and creative studios. When each partner brings clear expertise, immersive media can add new depth to existing destinations while supporting repeat visitation and stronger audience engagement.

Building New Value For Iconic Coastal Attractions

The redevelopment at Land’s End and The Needles is designed to strengthen the visitor offer at both sites while respecting their existing appeal. These are locations with powerful natural settings, established visitor recognition and strong cultural associations. The opportunity lies in giving audiences a new way to connect with those qualities.

For CONDUCTR, this is also an opportunity to demonstrate how British creative talent can support the next generation of heritage and destination experiences. By producing the media entirely in-house, we are investing in UK-based skills across film direction, content production, experience design and technology-led storytelling.

The new experience will launch from Easter 2027, adding a fresh visitor attraction layer to two landmark destinations. As we move forward with Heritage Great Britain and Simworx, we are focused on creating an experience that feels authentic to its setting, ambitious in its execution and meaningful for the audiences who visit these remarkable places.
