Good news for fans of Halloween, Legoland Florida have announced their ‘Brick or Treat’ event is returning this October.
The event promises to allow children to safely trick-or-treat, with six themed candy locations planned for the various ‘lands’ dotted around the attraction. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the park has also rolled out new measures in line with government guidelines to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time during their visit. Therefore, all employees will wear face masks, coverings and gloves at the trick-or-treat locations. The sweet treats will also be given out contactless. These areas will also be more generous in size than usual to practice social distancing, with a reduced capacity in operation throughout the entire resort.
As well as sugar rushes, children and their parents will get to meet fan-favourite Lego characters including Scarecrow, Spider Lady and Brickbeard. As well as the opportunity to take photos with classic Halloween monsters with a Lego twist, including Rockin’ Frankenstein, Lord Vampyre and Mummy. Organisers have specified meet-and-great stations will use elevated platforms and spacing of six-feet or more to provide plentiful space for cast member and visitor interactions.
Spooktacular performances are also to be enjoyed throughout the Brick or Treat theme nights, including the Groovin’ Graveyard and Candy-Coated Curse. Admission to the event is included in the general theme park ticket, which means guest can also enjoy the various attractions and rides on offer throughout the 145 acre park.
The event is to be held every weekend throughout October and is included in admission to the park. Tickets cost $85 online or $99 upon arrival. Discounts apply for guests who choose to book a second day at Legoland Florida.
The ‘Brick or Treat’ event is also taking place at Legoland Windsor (UK) from the October 15 to November 8.
