Manchester to feature the first £250 million UK facility

Therme Manchester was the first UK project to be given the green light by Manchester Council officials in August. The ambitious 28 acre development is expected to cost £250 million to build and will feature a large family area with waterslides, a variety of mineral pools, steam rooms, exotic palm trees and an abundance of relaxing activities – including water-based fitness classes and yoga spaces.

Not an ordinary wellbeing chain

The beauty of Therme Group resorts is that they go far beyond the expectations of your ordinary wellbeing centre. Designers are constantly conscious of all elements to ensure the highest standards of health and wellbeing needs are at the heart of everything they do.

This includes using ground-breaking plant-based filtration to deliver the freshest air and environment to guests, as well as continuing to collaborate with public authorities and stakeholders to develop new approaches in wellbeing success, including tackling physical and mental health.

Our aim is to ensure that a Therme Group wellbeing resort is within easy reach of 90% of the UK population.

Adding: “Now more than ever, people living in cities need opportunities to have relaxing and affordable wellbeing experiences close to home.

“Our concept, creating indoor biodiverse ecosystems that combine pure waters and natural environments, is already hugely popular in a number of European cities and it is a concept that will fundamentally improve the way we will live in the future.”
