Aldar Sets Q4 2026 Opening for Saadiyat Grove In Abu Dhabi

Aldar has announced that Saadiyat Grove, its experiential luxury retail and fine dining destination in Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Cultural District, will open in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Positioned between Louvre Abu Dhabi, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and Zayed National Museum, with the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi and teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi nearby, the project is being developed as a central connector within Saadiyat’s growing cultural district.

For retail operators, destination planners, hospitality groups and visitor experience companies, Saadiyat Grove signals a major investment in culture-led mixed-use development. The project brings together luxury retail, dining, hotels, residences, wellness, offices and programmed venues within a single district setting.

Aldar has positioned the destination as part of its wider strategy to strengthen Saadiyat Island’s role in culture, tourism, investment and lifestyle-led development. The project is also expected to support Abu Dhabi’s wider economic diversification by attracting private-sector investment, increasing visitor spend and creating new employment opportunities.

Luxury Brands Build Experiential Flagships

Saadiyat Grove will bring together more than 100 leading brands, including 20 concepts new to the region. Flagship names confirmed for the retail offer include Audemars Piguet, Brunello Cucinelli, BVLGARI, Cartier, Chaumet, Dior, FENDI, James Perse, Loewe, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co, Valentino and Van Cleef & Arpels.

Several brands will introduce formats designed around storytelling, service and cultural connection. Audemars Piguet will present a new global boutique concept centred on watchmaking. Cartier will use locally sourced materials and collaborations with UAE artists to create a store rooted in regional identity.

Chaumet will launch a world-first immersive Tiara experience, while FENDI will add a cinema and multipurpose room for year-round programming. Loewe will introduce its first regional Personalisation Bar, and Louis Vuitton will present a new retail concept focused on the House’s heritage.

For the luxury retail sector, these formats show how flagship stores are moving beyond product presentation. Brand spaces are increasingly expected to act as cultural rooms, event venues, hospitality settings and content-led environments.

Dining And Cultural Venues Extend Dwell Time

Food and beverage will play a major role in Saadiyat Grove’s operating model. Confirmed concepts include Alain Ducasse Café, Monsieur Paul, Kokoro Handroll Bar and Momofuku. Abu Dhabi’s first Time Out Market will also form part of the destination, with 16 kitchens, the region’s first Time Out Café, beverage concepts and interactive entertainment.

Nearby dining at Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences will add further depth, with names including Alica Deli, Barrafina, Gymkhana, Le Palais, Magma and Zephyr.

The project will also include Saadiyat Forum, a 7,000 sqm flexible venue for cultural, hospitality and luxury programming. This space will support collaborations, events and a reimagined cinema format, giving the district a year-round programming platform.

Mixed-Use Components Support A Complete District

Beyond retail and dining, Saadiyat Grove will include a 2,200 sqm executive club, 25,000 sqm of Grade A office space across four buildings, luxury hotels, residences, wellness provision and a longevity clinic.

BXR, the London-based luxury gym backed by Anthony Joshua, will open its first Middle East flagship within a 2,000 sqm space. The residential offer includes Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences, Baccarat Residences Saadiyat and The Arthouse, with more than 1,000 homes due for handover in the coming months.

Relevance For Visitor Experience Businesses

Saadiyat Grove is a clear example of how retail districts are being planned as cultural and hospitality-led destinations. Its position within a museum district gives brands and operators a setting where architecture, service, art, dining and events can support longer stays and higher-value engagement.

For Experience UK’s audience, the project creates future relevance across experience design, lighting, AV, fit-out, interpretation, live programming, guest service strategy and luxury hospitality operations. As Saadiyat Island continues to grow, Saadiyat Grove is set to become a key commercial and social anchor within Abu Dhabi’s cultural offer.
