World’s first Shaun the Sheep overnight experience set to open in Sweden.
Skånes Djurpark has partnered with award-winning animation studio Aardman to create a unique guest accommodation themed around the iconic British TV series.
Following the success of the Shaun the Sheep Land which opened at the park in 2016, Skånes Djurpark has partnered with Aardman once again to create innovative, comfortable and adventurous overnight stays which are close to animal and nature.
The Shaun the Sheep accommodation features four specifically built standard wagons, which can sleep five, whilst a premium wagon has space for six. Each themed wagon has its own toilet, living room, kitchenette, and custom-designed bunk beds which emulate Blitzer’s famous dog house.
A separate bedroom allows the parents to retreat from all the craziness going on around the farm, with a herd of angelic sheep teased to roam freely between the wagons.
To truly immerse into the fantastical world of Shaun the Sheep, guests will wake up to the crowing of the rooster. Guests will be able to enjoy breakfast on their own private patio, as freshly laid eggs and buns are delivered to each wagon’s mini henhouse.
In the morning, there will be morning exercise with Shaun before guests help prepare the farm’s tractors for the day’s work.
Both breakfast and dinner are included in the overnight packages. In the evening when the park has closed, overnight guests will be invited to help feed the animals an watch an outdoor movie, just like Shaun the Sheep and his flock usually do.
Commenting as plans for the new Shaun the Sheep offering are announced, Ngaio Harding-Hill, Head of Attractions & Live Experiences at Aardman said:

“The interiors and the detailed theming in the wagons have been specially designed to evoke the experience of visiting Shaun and the Farmers’ home on Mossy Bottom Farm in England. We can’t wait for the arrival of the wagons at the park.”
The world’s first Shaun the Sheep overnight experience will open in June 2023.
