A new family entertainment centre has opened in Yorkshire, providing some much-needed fun in what has been a turbulent year.
Puttstars has proudly launched its third attraction in the UK which offers mini golf with a modern twist. The attraction features three differently themed nine-hole courses, Zig Zag, Slingshot and Pin Ball at their new premises at York Stadium.
Curators promise the new attraction to be the ‘ultimate mini golf experience’ through its state-of-the-art interactives which are perfect for all ages and golfing abilities.
The latest technology will be used to digitally calculate players scores as they make their way round the fun-filled course. Puttstars will also operate a daily leader board, where players can see how they compare to other competitors at the centre.
Scoring will take place as follows:
- Hole in 1 = 1,000
- Hole in 2 = 800
- Hole in 3 = 600
- Hole in 4 = 400
- Hole in 5 = 200
- Hole in 6 = 100
Guests can also take a pit stop at Puttstar’s Diner, where an abundance of tasty treats including pizzas, hotdogs and shakes are served. An impressive amusement area with the latest arcade games and experiences is also featured at the centre.
The new £2.5 million venue is the latest development by Puttstars, owned by leading family entertainment centre brand Hollywood Bowl Group who has 60 centres operating around the UK.
Commenting on the opening Stephen Burns, CEO of Hollywood Bowl Group, said: “We are thrilled to be expanding our Puttstars brand by opening the third venue at the new York Stadium development.
“Puttstars is a unique mini golf gaming experience for families and groups of friends to enjoy and we can’t wait to welcome the new customers to our York centre.”
To help control visitor numbers amid COVID 19, Puttstars advises visitors to book their slot online to avoid disappointment.
In other family entertainment centre news, the American Dream Mega Mall has reopened this week with new attractions.
