13th TiLEzone London announces spectacular speaker line-up

The Creative Development Manager for Eden Development, the Head of Experience Economy for the Department for International Trade and the Chief Executive of Creative Scotland are just three of the inspiring industry experts who will be speaking at the 13th TiLEzone London, which takes place on 13th March 2018 in The London Transport Museum.

The one-day conference, which is supported by the UK’s Department for International Trade, addresses trends, technology, theming and design in leisure and entertainment.  TiLE events began in 1991 and have been hosted all over the world, with this year’s TiLEzone London being the 38th TiLE event.

A jam-packed schedule of seminars starts with a keynote presentation by Janet Archer, Chief Executive of Creative Scotland.  Janet’s session will be immediately followed by James Wallman, Futurist and author of ‘Stuffocation’, talking about the fascinating evolution of the experience economy.

Sam Smit, Creative Development Manager for Eden Development, will focus on the theme of ‘regeneration as destination’ and talk about the Eden Project going international.  Founder of Bompas & Par,  Sam Bompas,  will tell delegates how to design a great experience and Chris Lange, Creative Director of Europa-Park, will discuss the immersive media revolution.

Throughout the day, various market updates will be provided:

·         Saudia Arabia and UAE market update by Graham Ellis, who looks after high value campaigns for the Department of International Trade

·         North America museum market update by Ann Curtis, Managing Director of Heritage Solutions

·         Industry news round-up by Richard Parry, Head of Experience Economy for the Department for International Trade

TiLE events are for professionals that operate, develop or supply venues that entertain, educate or inform.  For example, museums, theme parks, heritage sites and other sectors within the ‘experience economy’.  The events showcase the latest in products and design, provide an opportunity for operators and suppliers to meet, and ultimately aim to facilitate increases in attraction visitor numbers and revenue.
