The world’s largest fountain is set to open in the high brow hotspot The Pointe Dubai.
At 105 metres, The Palm Fountain is attempted to break the Guinness World Record title of being the world’s tallest water fountain at the spectacular launch held on Thursday 22.
The magnificent feature is set to be a feast for the eyes, spread over 14,000 square feet of Dubai’s breath-taking sea water and completed with more than 3000 LED lights. Curators have stated the attraction will be the only multicoloured fountain in Dubai and reflects the UAE’s vision that everyone should aim for the sky.
Once opened The Palm Fountain will host five themed shows daily, with the first showcasing when the sun goes down and the last at midnight, with 30-minute intervals. Incorporating a highly advanced sound system consisting of 86 speakers, the shows will be enriched with authentic UAE music, as well as pop, classic and indie songs to cater to a global audience.
