After watching shows like ‘Total Wipeout’ and ‘Ninja Warrior’, many viewers would be intrigued to find out as to how they would fare on the courses, with obstacles to overcome, and spectacular falls to be had. Soon, viewers dreams could turn into reality. An inflatable adventure park, similar to those featured on the hit television shows, is set to open in London this year.
‘Cloud 9’ will include a giant obstacle course, and arena for sports such as dodgeball, football, and basketball, a bungee run, and a nerf gun shooting gallery. The new attraction will also feature a ‘Sweeper,’ or last person standing game, in which visitors each stand on a podium arranged in a circle, whilst a large arm sweeps around trying to knock them off.

Other attractions within the park include a gladiator-style duel game, and ‘dash and grab,’ described as a human game of Hungry Hippos. Games within the attraction are set to change frequently, keeping guests interested, and on their toes.
The location, which is as yet unnamed, will also house licenced bars, cafes open throughout the day, private rooms for corporate events and parties, TV screens, music and other entertaining activities in the bar area.
Founders Andrew Fairnington and Megan Thomas are launching a crowdfunding campaign to help get the project off the ground. They said: “After an amazing response from the public at our pop-up, we are now incredibly excited that our vision will become a reality this winter when we open the first permanent Cloud 9 venue in the UK. It will be a spectacular destination for all ages, with a huge variety of activities, a fully stocked licensed bar and delicious café.”
