The London Resort Announces ‘Next Generation Theme Park’ – A World-Class Leisure Destination

The London Resort announced the opening of a ‘Next-Generation Theme Park’ by the year 2024. Four visuals for the six lands in the park were revealed in partnership with BBC, ITV Studios, and Paramount Pictures. These six lands comprise the first phase of the 535-acre site.

In addition to this, the partnership with EDF energy aims to make The London Resort the most sustainable theme parks on the planet, according to PY Gerbeau, Chief Executive of London Resort Company Holdings (LRCH).

He also added, “We are creating a first-class theme park. A destination that maximizes all the new, immersive, and interactive technologies and experiences in the world.”

The park is believed to be the first of its kind for the global tourism industry with a Net Zero emissions goal.

The London Resort will be the first European theme park to be built from scratch since the launch of Disneyland Paris in 1992.

The second part of this two-park resort is expected to open in the year 2029, five years after the opening of the first park.

According to Gerbeau, the three guidelines for developing attractions for the park are innovation, relevance, and flexibility.

The visitors will enter The London Resort at the Grand Plaza that will take the visitors to the ‘High Street,’ featuring restaurants, hotels, a Convention Centre, and a water park.

Visitors can begin their trip to the park with ‘The Studios’, a warehouse district with exciting features like high-octane car chases and high-stakes espionage.

To the north, the park features ‘The Woods,’ an enthralling land of fantasy where the visitors will be invited to have a storybook experience to revisit the adventures of the bedtime stories and fairy tales.

Following the Woods, the visitors will continue their journey to The Kingdom — an exhilarating outlook of ancient England with mystical and exotic views of castles, dragons, swords, and legends.

‘The Isles’, towards the north, will comprise of adventurous rides combined with astonishing architecture, featuring giant creatures and mythical beasts, demonstrating the crossover of fantasy with reality.

The visitors will continue their journey to’ The Jungle’ that will feature the ruins of the ancient Mesoamerican civilization. It will be a great attraction for visitors both old and young, featuring artifacts and discoveries from the era.

Starport, the final destination of the park, will include the futuristic experiences with aliens and magnificent rides. It claims to be a 23rd-century landing zone that will take the visitors into science-fiction adventures ahead of its time.
