A British hotel is offering animal lovers a bucket-list experience, the chance to stay and dine amongst giraffes and other exotic species.
A collaboration project between the Aspinall Foundation and Port Lympne hotel are proposing to bring Africa to the Kentish countryside with plans to construct a Giraffe Hall within its tranquil surroundings.
Visitors will be treated to incomparable views of the angelic creature, as they relax, eat, sleep and play in the bespoke habitat.
Once in a life time experience
The new development will be exclusive to guests at the 10 bedroomed hotel and five luxury cabins which are planned to be constructed. Giraffes are known to be fascinated by humans and may even saunter to the windows for some playful interaction.
An outdoor viewing area will be available, were guests can relax at the cabana style seating area in the unspoilt gardens and enjoy the beautiful animal at whatever time of day.
The hotel will offer world-class African inspired cuisine at the Lapa restaurant, which will cook locally sourced produce on an open fire pit. Authentic Italian cuisine and fine dining are also proposed to be offered at the new development.
Immerse into nature
Port Lympne Hotel is nestled in between 600 acres of unspoilt surroundings, were dears and bears also call home.
Pricing for the ultimate weekend getaway have yet to be revealed, but proposals have been well received by potential guests which has already seen 10,000 people sign up the waiting list.
Elsewhere, a £46 million arts and culture centre is launching in Plymouth.
