A highly anticipated children’s entertainment centre is the latest attraction to open in Glasgow.
Based at the heart of Scotland’s retailtainment scene Silverburn, Fun Street provides an abundance of fun for families through a diverse range of engaging experiences perfect for a rainy day out.
The Interactive Zone is at the heart of the new centre, which welcomes guests to play a multitude of games on the big touch screen, enjoy pony rides through virtual fields and dance on the state-of-the-art projected floor.
Families can enter Fun Street’s Interactive Town, where children will be able to playout their creative imaginations. Using the latest technology five playhouses are available to visit, including a grocery shop, car garage, hairdressers, vets, and art gallery.
Other attractions at the 14,000 square feet centre includes:
- Soft play
- Puppet show
- Climbing wall
- Storytelling tree
Children and grown-ups can have some timeout at the on-site Erina’s Kitchen, which serves delicious savoury snacks and scrumptious sweet treats, including ice cream, milkshakes, and slushes. The new attraction also boasts four party rooms, which can accommodate 80 children at any one time.
Speaking to GlasgowLive Usman Qureshi, Founder of Fun Street said: “It’s been a challenging time to open a new independent venture but we’re confident in our vision to create an entertainment centre that will wow our guests. It’s been two years in the making, and with the continuing impact of COVID 19, it’s taken a little longer than we originally anticipated.
“Fun Street is like nothing you’ve ever seen before. There’s nowhere else like it in Scotland and our team continue to work hard to ensure that our new centre will be a safe environment for everyone to enjoy. With our new phased opening we can’t wait to welcome everyone to Fun Street.”
As of October 5, 75 per cent of attractions on offer at Fun Street are open with the necessary social distancing measures in place.
In other family entertainment centre news, the epic Mall of America has launched four new attractions in 2020.
