World class themed attraction designer, Katapult, has expanded their talented team ahead of IAAPA Expo Europe. The spectacular six will take on the premier leisure and entertainment event in London next week (September 13-15. From former Disney Imagineers, to experienced producers from BRC and Electrosonic, find out more about the new recruits below…
Andy Sinclair-Harris – Creative Director
Andy is a seasoned experiential designer and art director with many years of experience working with creative teams, bringing the highest quality experiences to guests of all ages, all around the world. A skilled conceptual designer and leader, from the initial spark of an idea, to field art direction and installation, Andy has delivered memorable experiences to some of the industry’s biggest names, including the BBC and a former Walt Disney Imagineer. With a background in theatre and holding a masters degree in theatre practices and design, Andy is first and foremost, a storyteller and likes nothing better than bringing big ideas to life with a great team.
Cathrin Winsor, PMP – Operations & Commercial Director
Cathrin is a skilled manager who consistently delivers to the highest quality standards. As a Producer, she has led a wide variety of ambitious, award-winning projects. As a team leader, she enjoys finding ways to work smarter, better, and faster. Her project portfolio includes Johnnie Walker whisky, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, and many more. She holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from the California Institute of the Arts, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Her projects have been honored by the Thea Awards, Experience Campaign Awards, Experience Design & Technology Awards, and others.
Alex Tyrrell – Project Producer
Alex Tyrrell is our Project Producer – Themed Entertainment. He has project management experience integrating creative technology solutions into theme parks and visitor attractions. Alex has worked on many iconic projects around the world and sits on the Themed Entertainment Association’s DEA&I Committee. Alex has supported in the delivery of projects for Walt Disney Imagineering, English Heritage, Warner Bros and Google to name a few is a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner.
Natalie Dawson – Live Entertainment Lead
Natalie is our expert live entertainment lead offering over 18 years of specialist knowledge within the live family entertainment sector. With creative vision she has created original concepts, produced worldwide programming of entertainment and original IP characters within premium resorts, attractions and theme parks for clients such as TUI, Majid Al Futtaim, Bourne Leisure and Disney. From touring theatre to large scale productions, Natalie has a wealth of experience in all areas of live and is a keen enthusiast of the attractions created by the immersive trail blazers, Secret Cinema.
Alice Young – 3D & Concept Designer
Alice Young is our 3D & Concept Designer. Having first trained in Architecture before jumping into Design for TV & Theatre, Alice is intrigued by the way in which spaces can be designed to be a language all their own; to tell stories and evoke feelings.
Victoria Meadows – Creative Producer
Victoria is our Creative Producer with an accomplished production, managerial and design background. She is always seeking growth, challenges and opportunities to learn new life skills. She is highly-organised, detail-orientated, motived and dedicated with an architectural, visitor experience and teaching background. Her international project portfolio and experiences range from working with world renowned brands such as Johnnie Walker to Wildlife organisations and conservations such as the Scottish SPCA.
