MAPIC Digital goes live with cutting-edge networking software and exclusive insight from global leaders

Its only one week to go until MAPIC Digital, with the ground-breaking platform now live for participants to enjoy early offerings before the epic main event.

By logging onto the innovative MAPIC Digital system, participants are now able to enjoy a variety of insightful pre-recorded sessions by world-leaders in the international retail and leisure sector.

By using the ground-breaking tools, users are also easily able to network with some of the biggest names in the industry and discuss potential business opportunities with thousands of global companies.

It’s fair to say MAPIC Digital is packed with industry insight, expertise and easy-to-use network facilities – and that’s even before we begin to discuss the main event, commencing early next week (November 17).

A feast of world-renowned industry professionals

MAPIC has recently unveiled the internationally acclaimed leaders who are sharing their wealth of knowledge at the virtual event. By delving into the hottest industry topics, CEOs, Directors and Managers at some of the industry’s leading organisations will explore emerging consumer habits as the retail and leisure landscape transforms quicker than ever through COVID 19.

Participants will be treated to the presence of a staggering 105 keynote speakers which include Alexander Beneke (EMEA Real Estate Manager at Salomon) Winston Fisher (CEO of Area15, USA) and Joan Busquets (Professor at Harvard Graduate School of Design, USA) to name a few.

A standout session will be presented by Ian Sandford (Director of Eurofund Group Spain) who be delving into the INTU Costa Del Sol project, a major retail resort which is scheduled to open in 2023.

Speaking of how retail experiences have transformed and the importance of the event, Nathalie Depetro, Director at MAPIC said: “Retail is a major pillar of urban development. Lifestyles have radically changed in recent years and retail too must adapt to new urban patterns that mix together work, life, leisure, and commercial spaces. Brick-and-mortar shopping is becoming an experience, an entertainment.

“It is not selling a product, it is selling an experience, an identity to a community, a sense of belonging and social connection. Like the industry, MAPIC has become omnichannel to continue accompanying the industry’s professionals as they face this challenge.”

It may not be held in Cannes as originally planned, but MAPIC haw done a spectacular job in making us super excited about their virtual offerings. Registration is still open for the main event, with MAPIC now offering free access to IP owners and leisure and restaurant operators.

See you on November 17-18!

Elsewhere, cutting-edge technologies and experience economy revolution are hot topics explored in a not-to-be-missed webinar taking place tomorrow (November 10).
