Live Business Strengthens Growth Strategy with Two Senior Business Development Appointments

Live Business, the award-winning entertainment and experiences specialist, has announced the appointment of two highly respected industry leaders to support its continued growth and expansion across key sectors.

Joining the business are Mark Lofthouse as Director, Business Development and Richard Twynam as Director, Partnerships & Commercial Development, bringing a combined 48 years of commercial, tourism, and experiential industry expertise to the company.

The appointments mark a significant milestone for Live Business as it continues to build on its reputation for delivering world-class entertainment solutions across cruise, river cruise, hospitality, resort, and leisure markets, while expanding its reach into the themed attractions and experience sectors.

Mark Lofthouse joins Live Business with more than 18 years of experience in the themed entertainment and experiential industry, having built an extensive network of contacts and developed a deep understanding of how attractions and experiences can engage audiences through compelling storytelling and immersive entertainment.

Alongside him, Richard Twynam brings more than 30 years of experience in the travel, cruise, and tourism sector, with a proven track record of developing strategic partnerships, driving commercial growth, and building successful collaborations across the leisure economy.

Mark Lofthouse, Director, Business Development, said:

“I am incredibly excited to join Live Business at such a momentous stage in its growth journey. The company has established an outstanding reputation for delivering world-class entertainment and guest experiences across the cruise, river cruise, and resort sectors across the EMEA region.

“What excites me most is the opportunity to help bring that expertise into the themed attraction and experience markets, where much of my knowledge and industry network have been built over the last 18 years.

“There is huge potential to create new opportunities, develop meaningful partnerships, and deliver exceptional entertainment solutions that enhance visitor experiences across these sectors.”

Richard Twynam, Director, Partnerships & Commercial Development, said:

“I am thrilled to be joining the talented team at Live Business and contributing to the next phase of its growth.

“Having spent more than 30 years working within the cruise, river cruise, and wider tourism industries, I look forward to leveraging that experience to develop strong partnerships across the UK’s experience industry.

“By opening doors and encouraging greater collaboration between organisations, I believe there is a fantastic opportunity to create innovative projects and long-term value for partners and customers alike.”

Dan Lock, Co-Founder and CEO of Live Business, added:
