LEGOLAND® New York Resort is getting ready for an exhilarating new addition this summer: The Minifigure Skyflyer. This groundbreaking gondola-style ride, the first of its kind at any LEGOLAND® Resorts, provides visitors with a one-of-a-kind experience as they travel between the various themed areas of the Park.
In order to generate anticipation, LEGOLAND New York Resort has collaborated with Belleayre Mountain to provide skiers with a preview of the Minifigure Skyflyer experience. From now until April, weather permitting, skiers at Belleayre Mountain will have the opportunity to ride two ski gondolas that are decorated with images from the LEGOLAND New York Minifigure Skyflyer Pirate Party Pod. This will give them a sneak peek of the exciting adventure that awaits them in the future.
When families go skiing and ride the gondola pods of the LEGOLAND New York Minifigure Skyflyer at Belleayre Mountain, they will also receive special access to complimentary tickets for children. This amazing opportunity allows families to return to LEGOLAND New York and experience being among the first riders on the real Minifigure Skyflyer.
The Minifigure Skyflyer guarantees a fully immersive experience for guests during their adventure. Guests have the opportunity to use manual cranks to power up the cable car batteries before embarking on a colorful journey along a road that leads to a dance floor with a disco theme on the boarding platform. With the addition of LEGO® brick disco ball lights, families can showcase their creativity and dance skills, resulting in a memorable and unparalleled experience.
During the experience, visitors will interact with the famous characters of the Resort, who will share the tale of how the Minifigure Skyflyer came to be. Driven by the imagination and motion of the guests, the attraction will glide gracefully through a dance-like journey, providing breathtaking panoramas of MINILAND and its surroundings.
Guests have the opportunity to engage in various interactive experiences throughout the flight in the seven distinct Party Pods. These experiences include learning pirate language and participating in group sing-alongs. Furthermore, all the pods are ADA-accessible and can comfortably accommodate groups of up to ten individuals.
LEGOLAND New York Resort offers a variety of exciting attractions, including the thrilling LEGO® Factory Adventure Ride, the action-packed LEGO® NINJAGO® the Ride, the exhilarating Dragon Coaster, and the fascinating MINILAND. Guests can also extend their visit by staying at the LEGOLAND® Hotel, which features 250 themed rooms.
