JP ShowSystems Celebrates Double Recognition At Business Awards UK

We are proud to share that JP ShowSystems has been recognised by Business Awards UK, winning Technology Business of the Year and Young Business Leader of the Year.

The awards mark an important milestone for JPSS and reflect the continued growth of our UK-based show control and AV technology business. They also recognise the leadership of our founder and Technical Director, Zach Phillips, whose focus on technical quality, practical delivery and long-term client relationships has helped shape the company’s progress.

Our work sits behind many of the systems that allow visitor attractions, immersive venues, museums, pavilions and live experience spaces to operate reliably. While guests may not always see the infrastructure, it plays a critical role in how audio, video, lighting, projection, special effects and operational systems perform together every day.

Supporting Complex Visitor Experiences

The Technology Business of the Year award recognises our role as a specialist technology partner for the global experience sector. We design, deliver and commission integrated technical systems that help bring ambitious visitor experiences to life.

Modern attractions are becoming increasingly complex. Operators and creative teams need technology that can support high-impact content, dependable performance and straightforward day-to-day use. Our role is to bring those technical layers together in a way that supports the creative intent while giving operators confidence once the experience is live.

That means bridging the gap between design ambition and operational reality. A control system has to do far more than work on opening day. It needs to support daily operation, maintenance, updates, troubleshooting and future development. We focus on creating systems that are reliable, scalable and clear for teams to manage.

Leadership And Team Development

The Young Business Leader of the Year award recognises Zach Phillips’ role in building JPSS as a focused, specialist team with a strong reputation across the attractions and experience industry.

Since the company’s growth began, our priority has remained consistent: to deliver technically robust solutions while working closely with clients, integrators, creative teams and construction partners. We believe successful project delivery depends on clear communication, careful planning and a deep understanding of how venues actually operate.

This recognition is meaningful because our work is often delivered behind the scenes. The systems we create are essential to the guest experience, but they are designed to operate quietly and reliably in the background. Having that contribution recognised by Business Awards UK is a proud moment for the whole team.

Project Experience Across Global Attractions

Recent projects demonstrate the breadth of our work across high-profile visitor experiences. These include venue-wide show control for teamLab Abu Dhabi, Parkwide Medialon control programming at Doha Quest, projection and AV commissioning at Frameless London, touring-ready control, audio and network architecture for the F1 Exhibition in Madrid, and Q-SYS control development for the UK Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka.

Each project brings different technical and operational requirements. Some demand large-scale integration across a whole venue. Others require touring systems that can be rebuilt in different locations. Some depend on precise commissioning, while others need control architecture that can support daily use by in-house teams.

Across all of them, our focus is the same: making complex systems easier to operate, maintain and adapt while supporting memorable guest experiences around the world.

These two awards recognise the progress JPSS has made, but they also reflect the clients, partners and team members who continue to support our work. We are grateful for that trust and excited to keep building systems that help ambitious visitor experiences perform with confidence.
