Exclusive Industry Visit to Puy du Fou, France

Experience UK is pleased to partner with the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) on an exclusive two-day industry visit to Puy du Fou France, open to members of Experience UK and the TEA.

This special visit will give members the opportunity to experience one of the world’s leading immersive entertainment destinations, meet the Puy du Fou team and gain behind-the-scenes insight into its creative approach, operational model and future ambitions.

As many members will know, Experience UK has actively supported and endorsed Puy du Fou’s plans to develop a landmark attraction in Oxfordshire. The proposed £600 million project represents one of the most significant developments in the future of the UK experience economy, with the potential to create thousands of jobs and introduce a distinctive new form of immersive, story-led entertainment to the UK market.

During the visit, the Puy du Fou team will share the latest information on the development of Puy du Fou UK. The programme will also include industry presentations, networking, dining, a guided exploration of the park and the spectacular evening show Les Noces de Feu.

The visit begins in Nantes on Wednesday 28 October. Attendees will travel together to Puy du Fou on Thursday morning for a full day of activity, followed by further time to explore the park on Friday before returning to Nantes Airport.

The group transfer to Puy du Fou will depart from the Novotel at 08:30 on Thursday. Anyone staying elsewhere will need to make their own way to the Novotel in time for departure.

Thursday 29 October — Puy du Fou Industry Visit

• 08:30: Group transfer from Novotel Centre Nantes Bord de Loire
• 09:45–10:15: Arrival at Hotel La Villa Gallo-Romaine and luggage drop
• 10:30: Welcome coffee
• 11:00: Address from Puy du Fou
• 11:30: Partner presentations
• 12:15: Aperitif
• 13:00: Group lunch
• 14:30–19:00: Guided exploration of Puy du Fou
• 19:00–20:30: Dinner at Le Café de La Madelon
• 21:15–21:45: Evening show, Les Noces de Feu

Friday 30 October — Puy du Fou and Departure

• 07:00–09:00: Breakfast at Hotel La Villa Gallo-Romaine
• 09:00–12:30: Free time to explore Puy du Fou
• 12:30–14:00: Group lunch at Le Camp du Drap d’Or
• 14:00: Group transfer to Nantes Airport

Anyone travelling outside the scheduled transfer window will be responsible for arranging and
paying for their own transport.

Accommodation in Nantes on Wednesday evening is not included and should be booked directly by attendees.
