Great Wolf Lodge is making waves in Naples, Florida, as it eagerly announces the grand opening of its first resort in the state on September 25, 2024. Families in South Florida can look forward to an immersive experience spanning 92,000 square feet of indoor water-filled fun, featuring an array of slides, pools, and water-play features catering to all age groups and thrill levels.
The centerpiece of the water park is the Otter Cave Waterworks, a multi-level, interactive play structure with intertwining water pipes, spray jets, four twisting body slides, and the iconic 1,000-gallon tipping bucket that adds an exhilarating splash to the adventure. This new design reflects the whimsical adventures of the Great Wolf Pack, the characters from an animated film and series created by Great Wolf Entertainment.
With 12 slides, three pools, and two interactive water play zones, the indoor water park promises diverse attractions. Breakaway Bay, a family raft adventure, and High Paw Holler, a thrilling body slide, are set to debut, adding to the excitement. Additionally, there’s Forest Flume for high-speed enthusiasts, Rapid Racer for side-by-side racing, and River Canyon Run for a rollicking family raft ride.
For a more relaxed experience, options like Slap Tail Pond, a gigantic wave pool, and Crooked Creek, a winding lazy river, provide a reprieve. Otter Springs has been designed exclusively for toddlers, offering gentle water slides and turns. Chinook Cove and Big Foot Pass present an activity pool and a unique water obstacle challenge for added variety.
Beyond the indoor water park, the resort boasts a stunning outdoor, zero-entry pool and hot tub, surrounded by luxurious outdoor cabanas, allowing families to bask in the warm Florida weather.
The $250 million resort, set on a 20-acre site near the I-75 and Collier Blvd interchange, is expected to bring over 600 full- and part-time jobs to the area.
