The design process has commenced on a world-record breaking coaster set to be built in Saudi Arabia.
Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) has teamed up with world-leading Intamin Amusement Rides to design Falcon’s Flight, a centrepiece rollercoaster which will be installed at Six Flags Qiddiya.

Riders will intensely journey over four kilometres of track and enjoy a vertical cliff dive manoeuvre from a height of 160 metres, while reaching exhilarating speeds of more than 250 kilometres an hour.
And that’s not all of Falcon’s Flight’s pioneering achievements. The ride, which is set to be open as part of Qiddiya’s first phase, will also be the world’s tallest free-standing rollercoaster.
The ride also includes a parabolic airtime hill which provides a thrilling a weightless experience, comparable to flying like a bird.
Each journey has a duration of three minutes, immersing 20 riders into pulse-racing thrills and panoramic views of the next generation Six Flags Qiddiya resort.
