Cineplex, a Canadian entertainment, amusement and media company has recently announced plans to open up Junxion – a movie theatre, dining complex and entertainment centre, everything in one place.
The soon-to-be-opened Junxion theatres will provide a whole range of experiences for moviegoers. These include, reclining chairs, UltraAVX, and a luxurious cinema experience where people will have the option of ordering food and drinks directly to their seats.
The new cinema will also have a stage where performers can perform live music, games meant to amuse people of all ages, and even an outdoor place meant for movie screenings where people can spend their days enjoying good weather and movies with their loved ones. There will even be a separate attractions area.
In addition to old-school video games, visitors to the cinema can even enjoy the experience of virtual reality made by VRstudios.
Cineplex has it all figured out. They have kept in mind that after a whole day of entertainment and excitement, people just want to kick back and relax with some good food. As such, they have planned an entire dining complex at Junxion.
This dining complex will offer a variety of food options, keeping in mind the different preferences and ages of the visitors. These food options include a bar and a food truck that will be indoors.
In addition to the usual attractions visitors can choose from, there will also be special events scheduled for them, every now and then such as movie nights, TV events, gaming and trivia nights and even musical nights.
Some members may even earn points each time they visit Junxion. These points can then be redeemed in all their future visits.
According to Cineplex, Junxion will cater to movie and entertainment lovers of all types and ages. In the words of the CEO of Junxion, Ellis Jacob,

The first location of Junxion is going to be the Erin Mills Town Centre situated in the city of Mississauga in Ontario. This is planned to be a part of the centre’s recent development efforts.
The 45000 square feet that have been allotted to Junxion will comprise of the dining hall with the food truck, six auditoriums, the gaming zone, the outdoor space for live events and the outdoor movie screen.
Cineplex has planned to open Junxion by the latter part of 2020. After launching Junxion, Cineplex also has plans of opening similar entertainment centres all throughout Canada.
Currently, Cineplex operates 165 cinemas across Canada. These include the famous VIP Cinemas. The brand also runs ‘The Rec Room’, a centre of dining and entertainment.
