Creationist theme park, Ark Encounter, have launched a virtual reality experience which immerses guests onto the journey of Noah’s Ark during the Genesis flood.
‘A flood of Reality’ is the debut experience at Truth Traveller, the first virtual reality theatre at the Christian museum based in Kentucky, USA.
The 11-minute showing starts by boarding the Ark, before transporting guests back in time to 967 BC. Visitors will experience the construction of the Ark, before flying around the religious vessel with Noah and the other animals on board.
The $3 million attraction promises a real sense of experiencing Noah’s troublesome journey during the flood, before being saved by God.
A spokesperson for Answers in Genesis, who own the park said:
“The seats are the highest-tech seats you can get. When you put on the virtual reality glasses and then the program is underway, you actually feel like you are flying.”
