Canada isn’t short of family entertainment centres, but Tag E-Karting and Amusement Centre is expected to greatly stand out from the rest – by including the world’s most sophisticated electric kart model, which have been carefully imported from Italy.
By being 100 per cent electric, the bespoke karts are set to pave the way for the next-generation of go-karting experiences – as the world continues to become more conscious of the environment by eliminating carbon emissions.
The $18 million project is the brainchild of renowned Canadian go-karting champion Alex Tagliani, who wanted to give visitors and tourists to Quebec mirroring exhilarating thrills of driving a real motorcar.
The karts will feature a digital steering wheel, bumper-integrated sensors and a Boost button for accelerated overtakes, giving visitors an adrenaline glimpse of the DRS feature on Formula 1 cars.
Commenting ahead of the exciting launch of the new attraction, Alex Tagliani said: “I think of all the young people and thrill seekers who want to let off steam and get their adrenaline flowing. The TAG E-karting & Amusement Centre will be the new generation recreational centre of choice, an exhilarating place for an outing with friends, colleagues, or family.
Adding: “Even better, I see this project, the first multi-level electric karting centre in Canada as a springboard to eventually develop talents that will shape future Quebec karting champions.”
Though no open date has yet to be revealed, the ground-breaking family entertainment centre is set to launch Spring 2021.
